Our 6.85kg non uv is a 2 part system and the two parts are identified as Resin and Hardener and are used in a 2:1 ratio (based on weight). The non uv range is not light stable and will change colour under UV light. It is supplied in kit form as part A and Part B.
The substrate is critical to the strength of the paving and therefore should be prepared and cured according to the manufacturers instructions. To achieve optimum performance the substrate must be dry, due to it’s relatively more reactive nature more care needs to be taken to protect from moisture when laying in higher temperatures. In particular extra consideration should be taken on surface temperatures, especially when laying on black tarmac. In the summer months the non uv range should be kept out of direct sunlight as if the temperatures get too high the viscosity becomes too low and will have a detrimental effect on performance.
Depending on the ambient temperature the system should be touch dry in 1-2 hours, however, should be left for at least 24 hours before use.
